WHAT: Pearl Harbor Day Remembrance Ceremony The National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, or Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, is the annual commemoration of the attack on Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7. We are honored to welcome Captain Bob Batterson, who is a USS Lexington Museum Volunteer and Pearl Harbor Survivor.Īdmission and parking for this event is complimentary. The ceremony, which will honor those who died in the attack, will feature the Corpus Christi Veterans Band, Mary Carroll High School NJROTC members, and the Corpus Christi Pipes & Drums. On December 7, 1941, the Imperial Japanese Navy attacked our forces at Pearl Harbor and other locations in Hawaii, taking the lives of 2,403 service members and civilians and leading the United States to declare its entrance into World War II.
